Mike Storm

writer - poet - artist

I moved here to the West coast of Ireland three years ago, lured by W.B. Yeats’ enchanting poem “The Stolen Child” and the desire to pursue my vocation as a writer.

Celtic mythology is a strong influence on my stories, along with all facets of science and nature. This leads to fantastical tales that might not even have humans in them.

The pandemic has held me back from publishing and I’m working on that. Projects in progress include a podcast, themed collections of short stories and several novels.

With my work I’d like to elevate Celtic mythology, promote the Irish language and explore themes such as otherness, growth and inclusion.
